I'm in a New York rehearsal studio right now with my band. It's the greatest feeling ever to be working with such gifted and dedicated musicians. Seriously, this tour is going to be quality! Anthemic pop songs with soul are the goal, and boy, have my guys and gals got soul!
I can't wait to get going on my first ever American tour with myself headlining. We have two massive buses and for some of the tour there are rumours that the John Lennon bus will be joining. It's decked out with a complete recording studio and film editing suite. Its whole purpose is to educate young people musically and tons of peeps will win a chance to go on the bus and check it out.
Oh, and I have breaking news....my song 'Pocketful of Sunshine' reached number 8 on the US top 100 radio chart! AND it got to number 1 on itunes this week too!
Thank you guys for all your support. As my mate Neyo's song says, 'Its all because of you!' Everyone at home in the UK and Europe, thanks for your patience while I represent us over here in US. I can't wait till I can come back to where my roots are and tour again.

Lots of drunk golfers will be at the concert, so be prepared. Cultural music in MB is "beach music". R&B base Motown. That area invented a dance for beach music called "The Shag". Do NOTbe confused with what that means in London. Here, it's a cool dance. Similar to the jitterbug from the 50's, Shagging is front to back not side to side. MB has 3 or 4 Shag clubs like Fat Harolds. The House of Blues there is a good venue but there will be drunk golfers and beach goers that have never heard of you. They can stand right up next to the front of the stage about ankle high to you. I wouldn't wear a mini skirt unless you want to find yourself on YouTube. Should be fun but not the ideal crowd for you. Beach&Golf with some bikers now - more to come next week. If you really want to impress, cover a song by General Johnson & The Chairman of the Board (true legends of beach music). Like Carolina Girls or Give Me Just a Little More Time. BTW, one can not shag to NB music. Have a great time in my favorite beach retreat! Jon

I know you have to escape quickly most of the time to get ready for your next gig, but the HOB is a fairly small venue. Some of the artists I've seen there stay after and hang out with the crowd, signing autographs, taking pictures. If you aren't too busy afterwards, it would be awesome if you could do this. I know one time they set up a line of people who could buy a CD and then have the artist sign. Wishful thinking, but I would absolutely love to meet you.
