I'm just putting the finishing touches to my album - its not long now! I'm working on the final production of it all now and should be mixing soon.

Thank you for your patience. The aim is that it will be my best album so far and I cant wait until I can finally play it for everyone.

Also, it would be cool to give my website a makeover soon, build lots of interactive stuff into it and to start touring again...testing these new songs out live! I'm so excited about seeing everyone again!

Im in LA right now. I find it easier to focus on creating music here - the sunshine probably has something to do with it. I do miss home though. Looking forward to being in Europe and UK again soon, reconnecting with all my old friends.

Just felt like saying hi right now as I realised that I haven't posted anything for a while. So much has happened that I keep forgetting to share. There's always something happening!

Natasha schwebt nach ihrer Hochzeit (März 2009) mit Matthew Robinson noch immer im siebten Himmel. Dem US-Magazin People sagte sie: „Das Beste daran, eine verheiratete Frau zu sein, ist es, jeden Tag nackt zu schlafen und den Kerl, mit dem ich verheiratet bin, immer noch zu mögen. Er ist immer noch sehr romantisch. Es ist der Job des Mannes, Romantik zu zaubern und er macht das auf ganz heiße Art. Darüber werde ich mir bei ihm nie Sorgen machen müssen.“ Beneidenswert!
Derzeit arbeitet Natasha an ihrem neuen Album, in dem es „ganz allgemein ums Leben“ gehen soll. Wir freuen uns drauf!

Natasha signs Will Smith's charity artwork

Natasha Bedingfield recently had the honour of performing at the star-studded Nobel Peace Prize concert in Oslo, Norway.

Whilst in Oslo, Natasha took part in a special project launched by Will Smith, who last month created a piece of artwork that he plans to auction off to help raise funds for hungry children in Haiti.

The artwork is based on a map of world hunger and features the signatures of Natasha and all of the other star performers from the concert, including the likes of Wyclef Jean, Toby Keith and Westlife. The World Food Programme (WFP) and the Will & Jada Smith Family Foundation will be auctioning the artwork off on eBay.

Natasha celebrates President Obama's Nobel Peace Prize

Last week Natasha was part of the stunning concert honouring President Obama, as he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize.

The star-studded event was hosted by Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith and featured the likes of Wyclef Jean, Westlife and Donna Summer.

Performing with the Nobel orchestra, Natasha also came together with the other stars of the show to sing Michael Jackson's 'Man In The Mirror' - click here to take a look.

Natasha wird am 11. Dezember beim Friedensnobelpreis-Konzert performen!
Das Event findet statt, um den diesjährigen Preisträger Barack Obama zu ehren. Da ist natürlich Ehrensache, dass sich die Stars die Klinke in die Hand geben: Will Smith und Gattin Jada Pinkett Smith hosten die Party, neben Natasha treten Westlife, Wyclef Jean, Donna Summer und andere auf.

Der Friedensnobelpreis wird am 10.12. in Oslo vergeben. Am Tag darauf wird gefeiert.

On 11th December Natasha will be performing at this year's Nobel Peace Prize Concert!

Taking place in Oslo, Norway, the show will be broadcast to the world and aims to award those promote peace internationally.

Natasha will take to the world stage alongside a long list of stars, including Wyclef Jean, Donna Summer and Hollywood couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith who will be hosting the evening's entertainment.

Natasha has begun writing her follow up to her highly praised "Unwritten".
Bedingfield will be working with Kleerup, Wyclef and Sam Sparro for her next
album, which she was so excited about she immediately blogged to her fans
about it. No news on a release date but in the meantime, she¹s made appearances on shows like Nickelodeon¹s teen series True Jackson, VP. Be sure to watch for it!

Recently Natasha took part in a very special campaign to celebrate Youth Music's 10th anniversary. Two years in the making, the Destroy / Rankin project involved over 70 musicians and visual artists, including massive names like U2, Kylie Minogue, Keane and of course, our Natasha!

Natasha was asked to creatively 'destroy' the photograph of herself taken in Rankin's signature style. All of the 'destroyed' photos will be on show at Phillips De Pury London, for free, between the 9th and 21st November 2009. You can bid online for the framed work until 6.01pm on Saturday the 21st November on eBay, right here.

Hey everyone! I just arrived in NY for a couple of days.

I finally went to Jamaica! Last week my hubby and I went to the homeland of Marley and so many of my London mates, for an event raising funds for a fantastic organisation called Waterkeepers. It’s all about fighting to keep the worlds water unpolluted.

Man I’m telling you, I fell in love with Jamaica. I grew up with so many Londoners with Jamaican roots and have always wanted to go. Serious, it has something special about it for sure. Caribbean culture and music really influenced me growing up; no wonder Amy and Shakira spend so much time there. It’s still very inspiring musically. I was talking with the minister of tourism about the possibility of doing a gig there – I’d love that.

Anyway, just wanted to touch base with everyone on here. I’m still writing for the next album. It should be out sometime early next year hopefully. I’ve been writing with Kleerup, John Hill, Wycleff, Salaam Remy, Ryan Tedder, Sia, Eg White, Wayne Wilkins, Phonogenic, Mike Elizondo, John Shanks, Danielle Brisebois and some others.

You all know, writing is my favourite part of the music process. I’m really savoring it and working on a sound that is fresh and brings everything up a few notches. I can’t wait for you to hear the new material. Meanwhile check out the music of some of my MySpace mates. I love them!

Natasha is ready for a REVOLUTION! Well, a Dance Dance Revolution anyway. Natasha's Pocket Full of Sunshine is be featured in Konami's latest installment of this music and dance game craze. Dance Dance Revolution will feature 20 tracks of original music composed by the Bemani development team as well as songs by artists Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas,Vanilla Ice, Coldplay, Ne-yo and others. In addition to the classic play that players are used to, the Wii version, will challenge players with the new Balance Board Mode. Players utilize their hips, waist and hands with the Wii Balance Board™ and Nunchuk in a fun high energy, low impact workout. The film reveals there are more slaves today than ever before in human history. Call Response goes deep undercover where slavery is thriving from the child brothels of Cambodia to the slave brick kilns of rural India to reveal that in 2007, Slave Traders made more money than Google, Nike and Starbucks combined. Natasha wins songwriting award

Congratulations are in order for Natasha, who has picked up no less than two trophies at prestigious songwriting awards, the BMIs!

The BMIs are accolades from America's music rights organisation, honouring the greatest songwriters from the UK and Europe.

Natasha was awarded the Song Of The Year award for 'Pocket Full of Sunshine' and picked up BMI's College Song Of The Year for the same track, after gaining the most amount of plays on American college radio.

Natasha Bedingfield struck gold last night when she took home two of the highest honors at the annual BMI London Awards dinner. Her hit single "Pocketful of Sunshine" won the Robert S Musel award for song of the year as well as the "College Song of the Year" award. The event is intended to honor the most successful UK and European songwriters, composers, and music publishers, and we congratulate Natasha on the win!

Hi my peeps! I am waist deep in the joys of album writing land at the moment. This is my favourite part of being an artist ... the creating! When i get in the flow I really throw myself heart and soul in. Its nice to put aside the promotion side of my career and really focus on what attracted me to music in the first place. Im really enjoying making music for music sake, the honesty of that, the digging deep and not focussing on my own image and how I present my songs but on the making of the actual material. Its a time to think outside of the box. To challenge my self, to get inspired.

Ive been looking through old record shops, tearing out pages from fashion mags, thumbing through art that says something like Banksy's stuff and doing my own photography, dreaming up ideas and seeing what they inspire.

im also inspired by the people I collabarate with. Danielle brisebois and John shanks - both insanely talented, Wycleff - he is so wise. Estelle my brit sista who also had a massive hit in us radio last year like me.

pictured below.. i wrote with sam sparro... love him. Sia, such a truly beautiful soul, shes one of my favourite artists. At this stage its all about just writing and collabaration and making music im into.

Thank you all for your patience. Especially those fans in Europe waiting patiently while I've been away in the states. Im still part way through making this album so it wont be until the end of the year that i start really introducing it,

But i promise to try to keep you included in the process and progress over the next half a year.

By the way some of my friends have told me i have a twitter imposter who keeps posting silly messages pretending to be me. Make sure when you sign up to my twitter you check it is my official one. i only just started using it so theres not much on it yet.. but just saying.
