Recently Natasha took part in a very special campaign to celebrate Youth Music's 10th anniversary. Two years in the making, the Destroy / Rankin project involved over 70 musicians and visual artists, including massive names like U2, Kylie Minogue, Keane and of course, our Natasha!

Natasha was asked to creatively 'destroy' the photograph of herself taken in Rankin's signature style. All of the 'destroyed' photos will be on show at Phillips De Pury London, for free, between the 9th and 21st November 2009. You can bid online for the framed work until 6.01pm on Saturday the 21st November on eBay, right here.

Hey everyone! I just arrived in NY for a couple of days.

I finally went to Jamaica! Last week my hubby and I went to the homeland of Marley and so many of my London mates, for an event raising funds for a fantastic organisation called Waterkeepers. It’s all about fighting to keep the worlds water unpolluted.

Man I’m telling you, I fell in love with Jamaica. I grew up with so many Londoners with Jamaican roots and have always wanted to go. Serious, it has something special about it for sure. Caribbean culture and music really influenced me growing up; no wonder Amy and Shakira spend so much time there. It’s still very inspiring musically. I was talking with the minister of tourism about the possibility of doing a gig there – I’d love that.

Anyway, just wanted to touch base with everyone on here. I’m still writing for the next album. It should be out sometime early next year hopefully. I’ve been writing with Kleerup, John Hill, Wycleff, Salaam Remy, Ryan Tedder, Sia, Eg White, Wayne Wilkins, Phonogenic, Mike Elizondo, John Shanks, Danielle Brisebois and some others.

You all know, writing is my favourite part of the music process. I’m really savoring it and working on a sound that is fresh and brings everything up a few notches. I can’t wait for you to hear the new material. Meanwhile check out the music of some of my MySpace mates. I love them!

Natasha is ready for a REVOLUTION! Well, a Dance Dance Revolution anyway. Natasha's Pocket Full of Sunshine is be featured in Konami's latest installment of this music and dance game craze. Dance Dance Revolution will feature 20 tracks of original music composed by the Bemani development team as well as songs by artists Lady Gaga, Pitbull, Black Eyed Peas,Vanilla Ice, Coldplay, Ne-yo and others. In addition to the classic play that players are used to, the Wii version, will challenge players with the new Balance Board Mode. Players utilize their hips, waist and hands with the Wii Balance Board™ and Nunchuk in a fun high energy, low impact workout. The film reveals there are more slaves today than ever before in human history. Call Response goes deep undercover where slavery is thriving from the child brothels of Cambodia to the slave brick kilns of rural India to reveal that in 2007, Slave Traders made more money than Google, Nike and Starbucks combined. Congratulations are in order for Natasha, who has picked up no less than two trophies at prestigious songwriting awards, the BMIs!

The BMIs are accolades from America's music rights organisation, honouring the greatest songwriters from the UK and Europe.

Natasha was awarded the Song Of The Year award for 'Pocket Full of Sunshine' and picked up BMI's College Song Of The Year for the same track, after gaining the most amount of plays on American college radio.

Natasha Bedingfield struck gold last night when she took home two of the highest honors at the annual BMI London Awards dinner. Her hit single "Pocketful of Sunshine" won the Robert S Musel award for song of the year as well as the "College Song of the Year" award. The event is intended to honor the most successful UK and European songwriters, composers, and music publishers, and we congratulate Natasha on the win!

Hi my peeps! I am waist deep in the joys of album writing land at the moment. This is my favourite part of being an artist ... the creating! When i get in the flow I really throw myself heart and soul in. Its nice to put aside the promotion side of my career and really focus on what attracted me to music in the first place. Im really enjoying making music for music sake, the honesty of that, the digging deep and not focussing on my own image and how I present my songs but on the making of the actual material. Its a time to think outside of the box. To challenge my self, to get inspired.

Ive been looking through old record shops, tearing out pages from fashion mags, thumbing through art that says something like Banksy's stuff and doing my own photography, dreaming up ideas and seeing what they inspire.

im also inspired by the people I collabarate with. Danielle brisebois and John shanks - both insanely talented, Wycleff - he is so wise. Estelle my brit sista who also had a massive hit in us radio last year like me.

pictured below.. i wrote with sam sparro... love him. Sia, such a truly beautiful soul, shes one of my favourite artists. At this stage its all about just writing and collabaration and making music im into.

Thank you all for your patience. Especially those fans in Europe waiting patiently while I've been away in the states. Im still part way through making this album so it wont be until the end of the year that i start really introducing it,

But i promise to try to keep you included in the process and progress over the next half a year.

By the way some of my friends have told me i have a twitter imposter who keeps posting silly messages pretending to be me. Make sure when you sign up to my twitter you check it is my official one. i only just started using it so theres not much on it yet.. but just saying.

“My favorite Natasha music video is “Pocketful of Sunshine”. It really seems to give of the same message that the song does: Sometimes when things are getting rough, you just need to get away from it all. Life can be stressful sometimes, and you need to find some time to release all of those worries and pent up frustration. I can relate to this because school always causes stress, especially with the end of the school year coming around. However, I try to spend most of my spare time relaxed, as if I was in another world, and that’s pretty much what both the song and the video are saying. It’s definitely a very inspiring music video.”

"My favourite video by Natasha Bedingfield is undoubtedly "Soulmate". I chose this video because it isn't a video that you're expected to just sit back and watch, it's a profound video with a profound message where you're expected to think. It's not just a video where Natasha stands there and looks pretty (even though she does look pretty!) It's the perfect embodiment of the song - a song that yearns to find the perfect person and play the perfect game of love. It has interspersed images of icons we associate with love; the love hearts; the statue of the groom and bride (normally seen on wedding cakes); the kissing couple - it makes love almost feel like a product that we all want to buy into, but not all of us are fortunate enough to be able to afford it - or at least be able to get the best quality.

I must admit the Soulmate video was a pleasant surprise because it's so rare to see such thought provoking videos these days, and just like the song it was so clearly open to interpretation. It added ammunition to the fact that Natasha isn't just a run-of-the-mill popstar, she is a true passionate singer whose songs are well thought out, easily relateable, and reflect genuine musings of a lyrical genius."

Ultimate Natasha Poll: Your Video Votes

Last week we revealed the results of the first round of our biggest ever Natasha poll and found out that your favourite single was the brilliant, 'Unwritten'.

Over the next two weeks we'll be collecting votes for round two - your favourite ever Natasha video - and sharing some of your best responses along the way.

We've already had some great votes, here's a sneak preview - Christy Becthold writes,

"My favourite Natasha Bedingfield music video would have to be "I Wanna Have Your Babies". It wasn't released as a single in the United States, but it has to be my favorite music video. I choose this one because I loved how it showed Natasha going through life looking for the right one to spend the rest of her life with, and at that moment when she was in the coffee shop she knew it was him. It makes me happy to see that she found someone in the end, and that she knew he was the right one. Some parts made me laugh, some made me smile. It was an overall great video, that showed me that in the end everyone will be with who their supposed to be.."

ULTIMATE NATASHA SINGLE: POLL RESULTS NOW IN!

For the past two weeks fans have been taking part in a massive online poll to uncover their all-time favourite Natasha Bedingfield single. And the results are now in!!!

In 3rd place with 14% of your votes was SOULMATE...

....In 2nd place with 18% of your votes was POCKETFUL OF SUNSHINE...

....And in 1st place with 20% of your votes was....UNWRITTEN! The third single from her debut album of the same name, Unwritten was co-written by Natasha for her younger brother Joshua's 14th birthday. It reached Number 6 in the UK charts and it also scored Natasha her first Top 10 hit in the US!

Jess says, "Every time I hear it I always get a smile across my face because the lyrics make sense to my life. Since "coming out of the closet" I've been getting bullied and when I listen to Unwritten it shows me that everyday is new."

Bailey says, "This single is my absolute favourite because it's a beautiful song! It has such a good meaning, it's inspirational. Its saying only you can choose how you make your future. Even if things seem bad, the future can get brighter. I'm trying to get good grades in high school, and this song is helping me along."

Ray says, "It may seem like an obvious choice, but the reason I like it above all others is because it reminds me that no matter what has happened in the past, through all the hardships and trials that any of us go through that the future, the next step... it is yet to happen."

Murdles says, "My favourite song is Unwritten. It was the first uplifting song of the time that I had heard in a very long time. I was struggling to figure out who I was and who I wanted to be. It is a song that makes me feel like I can do almost anything and that the future is not set in stone."

Luzlyn Larosa says, "And every time I hear it, I feel calm, relax and I gain more confidence. I think the song is about happiness, stability and positive thinking."

Natasha fan Chris Seligmiller reveals why his favourite ever Natasha single is..

"Without a doubt, 'Soulmate' is my favourite single from Natasha. There aren't many pop songs in my collection that draw as much of an emotional response from me as 'Soulmate' does. Being single, a bit of loneliness always crawls up inside of me. I see my friends finding love and happiness, and I ask myself, "Why is that not me? Why am I not with someone right now? Where is that someone for me?"

"And then I hear a song like "Soulmate", and it just cuts so unbelievably deep into where I'm at as a person. When Natasha sings the line "Who doesn't long for someone to hold", I feel like she's channeling me. She's asking the question I always ask.

"Few songs move me the way "Soulmate". From the lyrics, to Natasha's strong vocal performance and the beauty of the production. It's just perfect."

"My favourite single is 'Single'. Whenever I broke up with the women I loved,this song was the 1st song on my iPod to be listening to! What's better than being independent & declaring your self being single and that's how you wanna be?! This song gives me hope to even step out the door and resume my normal routine, my normal life. In a bid to uncover your ultimate Natasha Bedingfield favourites, we've been asking fans from around the globe to take part in the BIGGEST EVER Natasha Bedingfield poll!

In the first round of our poll, we asked you to email us with details of your favourite ever Natasha Bedingfield single.

And the response has been immense!

But before the final results on Friday, we'll be revealing some of what fans have been saying about their favourites!

"My favourite is 'Pocketful of Sunshine'. My husband has been in Iraq since before we got married. I moved to a town 2 hours away from my home for him. I had no friends, no one I knew. Being here all alone caused me to go into a severe depression. Pocketful of Sunshine has helped me realize that you make yourself happy. When I am having a not-so-good day or I feel myself fading, I can listen to that song and it always brings me back to life. Though Natasha's music is basically the theme songs to my life (each stage of my life mirrors songs), this is the one song that has truly changed my life. Plus it is quite fun to dance around the house to singing along into my Wii remote."
