Update from Natasha

Hey you lot!

Writing is going well.  I'm very excited about getting the next record out when its finished. just in case you were wondering what I'm up to. I've been creating songs almost everyday the last few weeks. 
Just was in studio last week with Wycleff. He is such a musical genius.
Met with Sam Sparro this week. We are gonna make a cool collaboration.  I have a good feeling about that one.
Right now I'm in the studio of Mike Elizondo. I wrote with him on my last record.  We have about 4 songs we are writing at the same time.  I like working with him so much. He is so versatile and plays almost every instrument excellently.


Going home to UK in a month for a bit of writing there. I can't wait. It has been a while since I was last there. Just been a bit preoccupied getting married and honeymooning and writing; that's all kept me away in the states for a while.


Also my song soul mate is playing a lot of radio here in the states a lot right now.  I performed it on Dancing with the Stars last week. Some of the dancers from the show danced while I sang.  It added a nice twist to the song.  I'm glad I was just singing rather than dancing on that show.  It looks hard!

I just saw Ms. Bedingfield perform at the July 3,2009 full dress rehearsal for the Capitol 4th concert in Washington DC. She was outstanding!! Especially wanted to thank her for her effort and enthusiasm and warmth - I even saw her stop and hug and talk with a person in the crowd!! She appears to be not only a great performer but also a REAL person who's thoughtful & considerate AND writes/produces music that is so POSITIVE & UPLIFTING!! Bravo to you Ms. Bedingfield!! And thanks again!

I wrote a while back to tell you how much my daughter Ava, who just turned three, loved your song, "Unwritten." The song would soothe her when she heard it, pretty much from birth and she still asks for "her song" to played in the car. Unfortunately, about two months ago, Ava was diagnosed with leukemia. It was and still is devastating for our entire family. She has started treatment and has a very long road in front of her. She continues to ask for "her song" all of the time. She finds great comfort in it, which in turn gives us great comfort. It has kind of become our "motto" for her.

I want to thank you for a precious memory you have created for my family. You see our 10 year old daughter Alexandra passed away 8.30.08. I have been a fan of yours for a while and my daughter in turn became a fan of yours. When pocket full of sunshine came out Alex began singing the song with me. She carried this tradition on with her father (who doesn't sing a lot). He began singing the harmony with her.
After she passed (due to an accident) your song became a bitter sweet memory. As time passes it become more and more sweet.
I want to thank you for that memory.

I realy dont look up to people,because I have a God to look up to.It sounds like your faith is strong,so God will provide you with someone to share your life with in this I trust.Your words in your music repreasents your love for Him,keep faith,someone is created for each of us.When your ready & willing to commit with someones habbits,a good man will come into your life.It's your choice if he's a godly man,peace be with you on your journey ahed.I dont expect a responce someone tour with acompact schedule cant make time for everyone thats life,I justwhant to bring a smile with LOVE to give streanght to those who need it.

I have a question: My nieces just made a video clip for a competition called "Healthy VI Challenge Video." They did an amazing job putting it together and they really want to use your song "Unwritten." Of course they need your permission. Is this possible?
