Drive Thru

32
Throughout this whole tour we're travelling by tour bus. I'm really enjoying driving through the US rather than flying over it. You definitely get to see more in a bus than using a plane to get everywhere.
Right now we're passing expansive flat fields in Illinois, little farmhouses all alone smack in the middle of miles of land.
In a few hours we will be in Chicago, which is such an historical city. I've got the afternoon off there to go exploring, I can't wait.

So I'm just touching base. I'm kind of zoned out today because we've been driving for 14 hours and I'm lying in the back lounge looking out the window and chilling.

We have internet on the bus so I've been surfing all morning. Thanks Perez Hilton for giving props to my mum's charity, Global Angels. It's such a worthwhile cause, and I agree with you Perez, it's doing great things.

I hung out in New Orleans all day yesterday as I had a gig in the evening. My song 'Pockets' took on a whole new meaning when I sang there. The people have really had to go through some rough stuff that life has thrown at them, and their determined spirit and ability to let it roll off them is really inspiring. I felt that so much as I was singing on stage.
There are some amazing places in New Orleans, we visited the French Quarter and I was amazed at the culture there; so much art and soul.

Peace and love to all
Nat x

Hey Nat, how are you? The tour through US is extremely long, isn't it? I see there are a lot of new fans, the old guys went away, but the new came. Is there any plans for goin' home the nearest time?

Ahh like the people of New Orleans your songs have touched my life in tremendous ways. Your lyrics often speak to exactly what I am feeling and brings to me peace and serenity that I seldom find anywhere else. For this and more I would like to thank you. You truly are amazing.

The Wordsworth of our time is what I once called you in a review I wrote about your debut album Unwritten on Amazon. And I reiterate it now with reaffirmed belief and conviction after listening to both NB and Pocketful of Sunshine. You are a true artiste. I pray you have longevity in your field and that you continue to bless the lives of others like how you have touched mine. Blessed Be Natasha. Blessed Be!

Dear Natasha,

I couldn't figure out how else to get in touch with you, and I hope you get to read this because this means so much to me. Thank you for making me and fiancée have one of the greatest moments in our relationship last night. We were the two guys at the front of your Boston show at the Paradise Rock Club (I'm sure you remember us!). Not only was your show fantastic, and you unbelievably beautiful both in appearance and vocally, but it was an awing moment when you pointed us out to the audience and sang "Put Your Arms Around Me" one of my favorite songs, and one that I always play for Marc because I feel so strongly about the lyrics. You blew me away with your talent and kindness and I wish I had been able to thank you in person. Its difficult feeling so strongly about your relationship, and having to often hide it because of the ignorant opinions of many in the world; but it was great that you are so open minded and obviously supportive of true love. hey natasha! um, ive been looking all over for a place to contact you, perhaps this is the right place...lol. have you ever heard of boyce avenue? well, there is this you tube video, a cover to your song "pocket full of sunshine" and its really really good, for a male voice. SO! just putting the idea out there, a remix of the song would sound AMAZING with them- (im just a fan, not associated whatsoever ha ha.) your voices seem like they'd be pretty awsome together. here's the link to their vid. enjoy! and keep making those classics! =]

Hey Natasha! I also went to your concert in Hampton with my friend and had sooo much fun! =] You are really good singing live. It's dissapointing when you see singers whose cds you like sing live, and they're not that great. You are so talented though, and I love your songs. I wanted to get your autograph at the end but we were like, being trampled by people. hahaha. I'll remember that concert forever. I can't wait 'till another cd comes out sometime in the future. love you!

Natasha, isn't it boring driving ALL DAY LONG? I'm just wondering because I can't stand being in the car for even 3 hours. I too am a musician. I write music on the piano. I don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

Hi Natasha!
I am a huge fan! I live in chicago! Sorry I couldn't make it to that B96 Pepsi Summer Bash! I wanted to come so badly! Well, I'm trying my hardest to come to that performance at six flags great america. I had a couple of questions that I would love to be answered by you...
1. When you come to six flags will you be riding any rollercoasters?
2. How was your afternoon in chicago? What did you do?
Well, I understand if you can't answer them. I know your busy! Anyway.. LUV your album. My school had a end of the year talent show and I was singing Unwritten! Everyone loved it!

think it's disgusting that you have cancelled your UK tour dates. You have re-scheduled twice and now a cancellation - well so much for your fans!
I won't buy a Natasha Bedingfield record, album, merch again. The US isn't all it seems.
You have just lost a fan!
